As it happened: Accrington Stanley 1-1 Preston North End

Preston North End travel to Accrington Stanley for their fifth pre-season game of 2021/22.

North End have made two changes at the break, Sean Maguire and Alan Browne have been replaced by Brad Potts and Trialist A.

Potts has moved up front.

Bishop is replaced by Mumbongo.

Barkhuizen crossed from the right and Jamie Thomas was there at the near post to get up ahead of the keeper to score.

Pell and McConville are replaced by Morgan and a trialist.

Mumbongo gets in behind the PNE defence and volleys low across goal but it’s past the far post and out for a throw in on the far side.

Pritchard gets ahead of Hughes to follow home a cross from the left on his left foot.

Mumbongo stabs the ball at goal from inside 10 yards but Rudd gets a strong hand to it before the assistant’s flag is raised.

Sykes receives the second booking of the game.
