Wales played the last 21 minutes with 10 men after Neil Taylor was sent-off for an horrendous challenge on Irish skipper Seamus Coleman which left the Everton man with a broken leg.

The Republic are in action again on Tuesday night when they play a friendly against Iceland in Dublin, with McGeady, Horgan and Boyle all in contention to play.
