PNE boss Grayson: Derby defeat a kick in the teeth
It’s three defeats in three for the Lilywhites after Craig Forsyth’s 87th-minute header settled an end-to-end game at Deepdale on Tuesday night.
Grayson said: “Anybody in the ground tonight will have seen a result that didn’t reflect how the game went.

“But from then on we were very bright, we passed the ball, defended well, caused them problems and second half I thought there was only one team that was going to win it.
“I thought we limited them to few opportunities but we just couldn’t get the breaks when we needed them.
“I feel for the players in there because they’ve done everything we’ve asked them to.

“There’s a lot of positives and you can see that by the reaction of the supporters.
“They were outstanding and stuck with the team and were trying to drag that ball into the net but unfortunately we got a kick in the teeth.”
