Morecambe have been drawn away to Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup first round.

The Lancashire rivals will meet at Ewood Park with matches scheduled to take place the week commencing August 9.

Clubs are also able to mutually agree an alternative date between July 31 and August 4.

Meanwhile, Everton Under-21s have been drawn into group A of this season's Papa John's Trophy.

The Premier League development side join the Shrimps, Harlepool United and Carlisle United in group A of the competition.
