Guildhall Cup date

The first game to be held at Croston Sports Club is between two Premier Division sides, Southport and Ainsdale Amateurs and Bolton United, at 11.00am.

The second semi-final is a local derby between Preston Wanderers of the Premier Division and Chipping from Division One.

This will be played at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium at Bamber Bridge, at 7pm.

A spokesman for the league told the Evening Post: “We would like to place on record its thanks to both Croston and Bamber Bridge for the use of their facilities, particularly given the very bad weather.”
