Gally eager to welcome new faces
Chris Maxwell and Simon Makienok have joined over the last few weeks.
Preston hope to add Tommy Spurr and Anders Lindegaard to the arrivals list before training starts, with further strengthening to be done as pre-season goes on.

Hide AdDanish striker Makienok, who has joined on loan from Italian club Palermo, is someone who caught Gallagher’s eye last season when he was playing for Charlton.
Said Gallagher: “He is obviously a big lad and we’ll be looking to use his height for our benefit.
“I thought Simon played quite well against us when we played Charlton at home.
“Hopefully we will be able to hold the ball up well and get us higher up the pitch.

Hide Ad“We have got quite a few options up there, with the pace of Joe Garner and Jermaine Beckford.
“Jordan Hugill looked strong last season and then we have got Stevie May to come back during the season.
“Simon will be able to provide support to them, help bring them into the game.
“He is a different type of option at 6ft 7in.
“We know we have to score more goals than we did last season and it is something the whole squad will take on board.”
