In January, Steve Cotterill’s last match in charge of Bristol City was their 2-1 defeat to PNE at Ashton Gate.

On Sunday, Dougie Freedman was dismissed by Nottingham Forest, that coming five days after Preston’s 1-0 defeat to Forest at the City Ground.

Thirteen clubs in the Championship have changed managers this season, with the average length of stay dropping all the time.
