The Magpies produced a stirring comeback to win 3-2 after going 2-0 behind in the first half.

However, the sending off of Adam Long just before half-time certainly changed the complexion of the tie.

The Magpies came roaring back and pulled level in the second half thanks to fine strikes by Elliot Newby and Harry Cardwell to force the game into extra-time.

Connor Hall then grabbed the winner in the 92nd minute, taking advantage of indecision in the home side's back line.

"We were up against it, we knew we were but we had a firm belief that we could come and get something.

"The red card undoubtedly changed the game and we were able to capitalise.

"You do see it up and down the country, teams get reduced to 10 men, but can you go and get the win.

"It doesn't always happen, it's not a given. You have to work hard and the boys worked tremendously hard."
