Bamber Bridge boss Jamie Milligan has urged his men to take the bull by the horns against Hyde
Jamie Milligan has told his Bamber Bridge players to have more courage in their convictions after slipping to only their second defeat in seven matches in midweek.
Brig were narrowly beaten by Warrington Town 2-1 at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium on Tuesday – a match which Milligan felt his men should have at least drawn if not won.

However, after a bright start, the hosts went into their shell somewhat and fell behind in the 36th minute.
Although they improved after the break, finding an equaliser through Emerich Poilly, the Wire found the all-important winner 16 minutes from time.
The defeat meant Brig failed to make ground on the teams occupying the play-off positions in the NPL Premier Division and could do with victory over lowly Hyde United this weekend at Irongate to stay in touch.
Following Tuesday night’s defeat, boss Milligan told the club’s in-house media: “I just said to the lads that they need to take that little bit of the first half and the second half into Saturday.
"Just get at teams because we have got so much firepower in the team, legs and energy; we’ve been good defensively. We need the win, we need the three points. It’s always a good game against Hyde.”
