Beauty and the Beast is coming to the Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens – and school tickets are already selling fast!

It might feel a little early to be thinking about Christmas, but schools looking to sprinkle some festive magic over the end of 2026 are being urged to get organised.

The Lowther Pavilion’s Beauty and the Beast pantomime is already on sale, with a host of school performances scheduled from Monday 30 November 2026 and throughout December.

The timeless tale promises a riotous mix of mischief, mayhem and magic, as Belle, Philippe, Gaston and Cheri Trifle take audiences on an unforgettable adventure.

At the heart of the story is a curse cast upon the Count by an evil witch. There’s only one way to break it – true love. But will love really conquer all, and can it prove there’s more to a person than being skin deep?

After the success of previous productions, schools have plenty of reasons to make the trip.

Medlar with Wesham Church of England praised the team following its visit to Jack and the Beanstalk, saying its group of 49 pupils “really enjoyed it” and highlighting the theatre’s communication, billing and organisation.

And it’s not just the show that pupils can look forward to.

Schools booking Beauty and the Beast will also receive a free themed education pack, helping teachers tie the experience into classroom activities and arts and culture policies.

The two-hour performance, including an interval, costs just £11 per child, with one free ticket for every 10 tickets booked. These complimentary tickets can be used by accompanying staff.

There’s also a major bonus for teachers and staff, who will receive free refreshments during their visit.

Several dates are already proving popular, with performances on December 7, 14 and 16 marked as sold out, while other sessions have limited availability.

The school performances run from November 30 through to December 17, 2026, with morning and afternoon options available on selected dates.

Getting pupils to the venue is designed to be hassle-free, too. The Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens is located on West Beach in Lytham St Annes, and coaches can pull up directly outside the theatre for a stress-free coach to door experience.

Schools have until around the end of October 2026 to make changes to their booking before an invoice is issued.

Ready to book? Schools and teachers can contact Lowther Pavilion on 01253 794221 or email [email protected].

With some performances already sold out, schools may want to get their skates on before the remaining tickets disappear!
