As part of the #EverydayHeroes campaign, the brand has also created an ‘Actimel Hero Tracker’ to map nominations across the UK and Ireland.

They are calling on people to make their hero part of the movement by visiting the map before the end of June.

Actimel contains Vitamins D and B6 which support the normal function of our heroes’ immune systems, so they can support the normal functioning of our everyday lives.

The Nominations

Together with Actimel’s Winter Everyday Hero campaign, there have already been more than 6,400 nominations from around the country, including nurses, carers, postal workers and those demonstrating true resilience and kindness.

Clifford, a postal worker from Middlesex, was nominated by his daughter Phoebe.

She said: “He is my father, best friend and the local postman who’s been delivering through all of this madness, ensuring everyone’s parcels and letters arrive safely.

He’s friendly, reliable, amazing and I love him.”

Cheryl, a “kind, caring and hardworking” healthcare worker from the North East of England, was also nominated.

Her nominee said: “Cheryl keeps their spirits high when their families can’t visit them, risking her own health, but doing what she loves best. She’s an inspiration and I’m so proud of her.”

Sarah Dossett, marketing director at Actimel, said: “We launched the Actimel Hero Tracker to allow everyone in their county to celebrate their everyday heroes - whether it’s your local courier dropping off parcels, your mum or dad making you a cup of tea at 10am every day on the dot, or your best friend working on the front line.

The Actimel Hero Tracker helps you sing out for our unsung heroes, giving them the recognition they deserve.”

Actimel, which should be consumed as part of a varied diet and healthy lifestyle, contains Vitamins D and B6 which support the normal function of the immune system.
