The plans would see a 350,000 square foot film inspired attraction called Pinewood Studio Experience. The new park could create about 3,500 jobs and would be the studio’s first public attraction.
Home to James Bond, Star Wars and Jurassic Park
Pinewood Studios has been home to some of the biggest productions in film and TV history for more than 80 years.

Last year, Disney signed a deal to take over 20 stages plus other facilities at the studio for at least a decade. The deal came two months after Netflix signed a long term lease at Pinewood’s Shepperton Studios.
Educational hub
The new attraction is part of a newly proposed Screen Industries Global Growth Hub, called Screen Hub UK.

Pinewood has estimated that the development would add £230 million to the local economy annually, and £125 million into the tourism industry.
Pinewood Group chairman Paul Golding said, “We have been looking at a visitor experience for some time and feel that now is the right moment to bring it forward. The project will strengthen UK film and bring much needed jobs and spending. We hope our planning application will receive widespread support."
Pinewood is preparing the application and will start consultations with the local community and wider stakeholders later this month.
