Woman taken to hospital after two-car smash in Preston
A woman was taken to hospital after a two-car smash in Preston this morning, say ambulance services.
The accident happened at around 9:45am on Birch Avenue near Cottam Lane doctor's surgery in Ashton-on-Ribble.
The road was temporarily blocked by one of the cars involved in the accident, say police.
All cars have now been recovered and the road is clear.
The condition of the woman and the extent of her injuries are not known.
