Woman hurt as slates fall off roof in city centre
Emergency services were in Preston city centre this afternoon making a roof safe after slates blew off and injured a woman.
Fire officers using an aerial ladder and police were at the scene in Fishergate near the Vodafone store.
It is believed that two large slates blew off, injuring a passer-by’s leg.
