Will Black Friday be our lucky day?
Hounds in need of a new home are hoping Black Friday will be their lucky day.
The Lancashire branch of The Retired Greyhound Trust is urging people to consider adopting a black greyhound. Around 80 per cent of their dogs are black, meaning they don’t stand out from the crowd as much as others.
Sarah Horner, branch leader at Lancashire RGT said: “It’s such a shame that black greyhounds often get overlooked, they have just as much love to give as any of the other dogs. Because there are so many black dogs, the lighter dogs stand out so they often get picked first.”
