Your Preston weekend weather forecast: City to enjoy sunny spells

For almost two weeks now, people have been able to go out and enjoy socialising at bars, pubs and restaurants at outdoor seating areas following a stream of warm temperatures.

And this weekend will be no different, with people expected to continue enjoying the sun and our new freedoms as lockdown restrictions continue to lift.

Today, temperatures will remain a warm 18°C, with sunny spells throughout the day after a cooler start to the morning.

Overnight will remain a comfortable 8°C, with a cloudier start to tomorrow morning, Saturday, April 24, but similar sunny conditions throughout the day and highs of around 17°C.

Although Sunday will still see some sunny intervals, it is thought to become a little more overcast by late morning, with cooler highs of around 13°C, a sign of cooler temperatures again on Monday.

Another cold start, but soon turning warm and fine with plenty of sunshine. Remaining dry into the afternoon with high cloud moving in from the west, making the sunshine hazy. Maximum temperature 18 °C. This evening conditions staying dry and mostly clear apart from high cloud in places.

Fine and dry after a chilly start, it will become brighter during the afternoon as high cloud gradually disperses through the day. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Fine and dry on Sunday. Cloudier on Monday with rain moving in overnight before a rather wet Tuesday. Warm at first, but turning cooler, with a continued overnight frost risk.
