Van destroyed by fire
Fire crews were called to put out a blaze in the centre of Preston, after a van caught fire.
Firefighters went to Mount Street at about 5pm on Saturday to tackle the blaze, and stop it spreading to a nearby building.
Crews said the fire had started accidentally, as asphalt was being laid on the road, and the van caught fire.
They said nobody was injured, but the van was completely destroyed.
