Urgent appeal launched to help find missing Blackburn man Ian Thompson

An appeal has been launched to help find a missing man from Blackburn.

Ian Thompson was last seen near London Way in Preston at around 8pm on Sunday (July 3).

The 30-year-old is described as 5ft 6in tall, of slim build and has black short thinning hair. He also has a long dark beard.

He was last seen carrying a small blue suitcase.

“You may remember that last week we asked for your help in finding missing Ian Thompson from Blackburn,” a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.

“We did locate Ian in Preston over the weekend but, unfortunately, he has gone missing again and we are getting really worried about his welfare.

“We have some updated images of Ian and are again asking for your help to locate him.”

Anyone with information should contact the police by calling 101, quoting log number 1059 of June 29.
