UPDATE: Queues clear after rush hour pile up on M55
Two lanes of the M55 have reopened following a three-car crash on the eastbound carriageway of the M55.
Police were called to the crash between junction 1 and 3 at 7.40am.
Three cars were involved, but nobody was injured.
The vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder and lanes two and three were closed while recovery and a clean-up operation took place.
Highways England reported all lanes were reopened at 9am, but traffic continued to be affected for some time afterwards.
