Update: Famous Goosnargh poultry farmer dies suddenly
The well-known Reginald Johnson, owner of Goosnargh’s Johnson and Swarbrick, has died suddenly.
The 64-year-old, known as Reg, died at about 9.15pm on Wednesday, and tributes have poured in from chefs from across the country.
Celebrity chef Marcus Wareing said: “Very sad to hear. Such a lovely, lovely man. RIP.”
Mr Johnson died while in his van at The Croft in Goosnargh.

Hide AdPS David Hurst from the road policing unit said: “This is a tragic incident where a man has sadly lost his life and my thoughts are with his family at this time.
“Our enquiries are on-going to establish exactly what happened.”
