Six fire engines from Morecambe, Lancaster, Hornby, Silverdale and Fulwood attended the blaze, which took hold at around 10.20pm on Sunday August 23.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire on the third floor of a four storey building near The Battery in Heysham Road was "well alight" when they arrived at the scene.
Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, four hose reels, a drone and an aerial ladder platform from Preston to tackle the blaze.

Hide AdTwo casualties were rescued, and North West Ambulance Service said that one of them was taken to hospital.
Fire crews were still at the scene after midnight, but all involved had been accounted for by then.
