Lancaster police hunt quad bike thief who used it to commit further crimes

Police are appealing for information after a quad bike was stolen and then used to commit burglaries and thefts from other vehicles.

The red quad bike was stolen from the Nether Kellet area overnight on Thursday October 8.

Lancaster police say it was then used to commit an array of different crimes within the Lancaster area.

These include burglaries, theft from motor vehicles and reports of "suspicious circumstances".

A spokesperson said: "Police attended the incidents overnight however the quad bike and persons involved are still outstanding.

"Were you disturbed overnight by the noises of a quad bike?

"Did you see a quad bike driving around the area and thought nothing of it at the time?

"If you have any information into the movements/actions of the quad bike or if you have any dash cam, CCTV or high tech door bell footage please get in touch via 101 and quote log number LC-20201009-0041."
