Two arrested after police uncover cannabis grow during Preston drugs warrant
Two people have been arrested after police uncovered a cannabis grow during a drugs warrant in Preston.
Officers acting on information from the community executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address on Robin Street in the St Matthews area this morning.
Inside the property, police discovered around 15 cannabis plants growing across several rooms.

A 33-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man, both from Preston, were arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation. They remain in custody for questioning.
The warrant was carried out by officers from the Prosper Partnership and neighbourhood policing teams as part of ongoing work to tackle organised crime.
The activity forms part of Operation Warrior, Lancashire Police’s county-wide response to serious and organised crime, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.
The initiative targets individuals and gangs involved in criminal activity, including large-scale drug supply, violence, intimidation, exploitation and fraud, all of which police say can cause serious harm to local communities.
