Van smashes into shopfront after crashing into another van in Preston

Two vans crashed into each other on a street in Preston, resulting in one of the vans veering off the road and smashing into a storefront.

A white Iveco van and a Peugeot van collided on Ribbleton Lane earlier today (July 8), causing the Peugeot to smash into a storefront.

The Iveco van had driven away from the scene when police arrived at around 10.45am, but officers confirmed the van was later recovered.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made, but any eyewitnesses are being asked to contact police.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "We were called around 10.45am today (Wednesday, July 8) to reports of a collision on Ribbleton Lane in Preston.

"A white Iveco van had been involved in a collision with a Peugeot van. The Peugeot then collided with a shop front.

"The Iveco van was driven from the scene and later recovered. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
