These were some of the scenes as heavy rains flooded Lancashire roads last night
A number of roads were closed due to flooding after heavy rains hit Lancashire last night (Thursday, December 30).
In Thornton, Lawsons Road was nearly impassable after quickly becoming flooded (see pictures).
Other flooded roads included:
- Queens Walk, Cleveleys
- Green Drive, Cleveleys
- Briar Road, Thornton
- Springfield Drive, Thornton
- Bridge Street, Garstang - Remains closed both ways this morning (Friday, December 31) due to flooding from A6 Lancaster New Road to Coach House Mews.
- Croston Road, Lostock Hall (under the bridge)
