South Ribble roadworks from July 9: Which streets in the borough are affected, how long they are scheduled to last and why they are in place

Here are eight South Ribble roadworks set to start next week.

The projects taking place over the next seven days include infrastructural work and the unblocking of several ducts.

Five of the eight roadworks will impact Longton drivers and entail surface dressing, lockdown treatment and carriageway relining, starting on Wednesday. It is to be completed by Lancashire County Council over six days in a 28-day period.

The other three will occur in Higher Walton and Bamber Bridge.
