Sainsbury's delivery van crashes and overturns in Blackpool Road
A Sainsbury's delivery van overturned following a crash with an Audi in Lane Ends last night (Thursday, April 9).

The crash happened at around 9.30pm when a Sainsbury's delivery van collided with an Audi in Blackpool Road, at the junction with Woodplumpton Road and Tulketh Brow.
The van overturned in the crash whilst the black Audi smashed into railings outside The Lane Ends pub.

Hide AdEmergency services attended and the van driver was treated at the scene by paramedics.
But Sainsbury's have since confirmed that the driver was not injured.
"We can confirm our driver was not injured in the accident and we are assisting the police with their investigation," said a spokesman.
Both the Sainsbury's van and the Audi suffered extensive damage and had to be recovered.
Lancashire Police have been approached for comment.
