The following summary of planned new and ongoing roadworks over the coming week is correct as of January 8 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

M6 Junction 36

Highways England is working along the A590 between the M6 and Brettargh Holt roundabout on Monday night between 8pm and 6am. Lane closures will be in place at the motorway junction and along the A590. A small section of the roundabout will also be closed for the night. Drivers leaving the northbound M6 for the local road network (e.g. A65) east of the motorway junction will need to do so via Brettargh Holt and then the eastbound A590; drivers leaving the westbound A65 for to the northbound M6 will also need to travel to Brettargh Holt and use the eastbound A590.
