Preston fire crews attend three-car crash at New Hall Lane roundabout

Fire crews responded to a three-car crash in New Hall Lane yesterday afternoon (Thursday, March 25).

Two engines attended the scene at the roundabout junction with Blackpool Road at 2.41pm.

Lancashire Police also attended the crash, which it described as "damage-only", with no injuries reported.

The road was closed for around 20 minutes, leading to some delays, before it was reopened at around 3pm.

A fire service spokesman said: "At 2.41pm, two fire engines from Preston attended a road traffic collision on New Hall Lane, Preston.

"The incident involved three vehicles. Firefighters worked to make the scene safe and were in attendance for approximately twenty minutes."
