Preston city centre roads reopen after overnight police incident

Two city centre roads have reopened after being closed overnight by police.

Police had closed Bow Lane in both directions, from A59 Ring Way to Fishergate Hill, as well as nearby Marsh Lane, across Guild Way.

Both roads had been shut since 12.30am whilst police dealt with an incident at two different sites.

A number of buildings in the area have been cordoned off with officers stationed at their entrances this morning.

Officers at the scene said they could not comment on the incident.

Lancashire Police has been approached for comment.
