More delays on motorways after multiple crashes and flooding
Two crashes have seen delays on the motorway this morning.
First a multi-vehicle crash at junction 29 in Leyland, which has now been cleared to the hard shoulder. All lanes are now open and traffic speeds are getting back to normal.
And secondly an accident on the M61 between junction eight, A674, Chorley, and nine, M65, Gregson Lane, Clayton Brook. One lane is closed as well as queuing traffic due to the incident and a rolling road block.
Both happened this morning at around 7.15am.
There is also delays on the A6 as Dawson Lane in Chorley is closed in both directions from the A6 Preston Road junction due to flooding.
