Crash closes large section of Blackburn Road in Oswaldtwistle with residents urged to avoid area
A large section of road was closed by police following a collision in Oswaldtwistle.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in Blackburn Road, Oswaldtwistle, at approximately 3.50pm on Tuesday (July 19).
Police subsequently closed the road between Thwaites Road and Windsor Road while crews attended the scene.
“Please avoid the area,” a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.
“We will update you once the road has reopened.”
Traffic in the area was coping well following the road closure.
