Convoy of travellers set up camp in Leyland's Worden Park
A convoy of Travellers has moved onto Worden Park in Leyland.
Ten caravans set up camp in the car park, off Worden Lane, yesterday afternoon (November 26).
A council officer was seen visiting the site soon after their arrival to speak with the group.
A spokesman for South Ribble Borough Council said: "A group of travellers with five caravans and various vehicles arrived on Worden Park just after 3pm Tuesday afternoon.
"The council has informed them that they are trespassing on council land and should they not leave the site, the council will seek a court order for their removal."
