Congestion on M6 after crash near Leyland

A crash on the M6 near Leyland has led to some congestion this afternoon (Thursday, November 19).

The crash happened at around 11.30am on the northbound carriageway between Charnock Richard Services and Junction 28 (Leyland).

The incident appears to have been cleared but there is some residual congestion, with a queue of lorries on the approach to the the exit slip road at Leyland.

There have been no reports of injuries at this stage.
