Traffic chaos at Garstang Ice Cream Festival

Motorists heading to Garstang Ice Cream Festival are stuck in their hot cars as traffic into the market town is gridlocked.

Queues on the B6430 heading into Garstang today

Queues on the B6430 coming from Preston extend back as far as Catterall Village Hall.

The B6430 is also choc-a-bloc for drivers coming to Garstang from Scorton.

Croston Road is at a standstill with vehicles backing right up to the A6 which is jammed between Croston Road and Moss Lane.

Those trying to access the market town from Moss Lane are also finding themselves in a logjam as cars are queuing back to The Bellflower pub and The Lunch Box.
