UPDATE: Road re-opened in Ribbleton following three-car crash

The busy junction of a Ribbleton road that was closed due to a three-car crash has now been reopened.

Police closed off the junction of Blackpool Road and Ribbleton Avenue at around 6pm today.

At around 8.15pm, a spokesman for Preston police said the junction had been cleared and the road reopened.
