Seven rescued from lift stuck between floors
Seven people were rescued after getting trapped in a lift in Lancaster last night.
Firefighters were called to Kingsway at around 10.56pm following reports the people were stuck in-between floors, a spokesman for the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said.
"They used a ladder to successfully free the seven people," he added. "We don't believe there were any injuries and we were at the scene for about 20 minutes."
