Roads to be closed around Preston for England game
Fishergate, Friargate and Church Street will all be turned into pedestrian only areas over concerns for public safety.

Here is the full list of closures anticipated this evening from 8.45pm - 11pm on Wednesday, July 11.
- Avenham Street - its full length- St Johns Place - its full length- Church Street - from its junction with Church Row to its junction with Fishergate- Fishergate - from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Cheapside- Cheapside - its full length- Market Place - its full length- Friargate - its full length- Market Street - its full length- Earl Street - its full length- Birley Street - its full length- Harris Street - its full length- Jacson Street - its full length- Lancaster Road - from its junction with Lord Street to its junction with Church Street- Lord Street - its full length- Tithebarn Street - from its junction with Old Vicarage to its junction with Lord Street- Wards End - its full length- Guild Row - its full length
Diversions have been put in place to allow traffic to find routes through the area.

Hide Ad- Syke Street, Avenham Lane and Manchester Road in that direction only.- Grimshaw Street, Avenham Lane and Syke Street in that direction only.- Church Street and Ring Way in that direction only.- Kendal Street, Corporation Street and Ring Way in that direction only.- Old Vicarage in that direction only.- Ring Way, Corporation Street and Fylde Street in that direction only.
One-way traffic restrictions on Hope Street, Edward Street and Marsh Lane from Corporation Street to Friargate will also be suspended to allow vehicles to obtain access.
