M6 tailbacks near Lancaster are due to a boat in the road
Commuters have been told to expect delays on the southbound M6 this afternoon.
North west motorway police are attending the scene, where a transport vehicle carrying an RNLI boat has broken down.
The incident in on the southbound M6 between junctions 34-33.
The stretch in now down to two lanes, and police say they hope to have the road fully re-opened soon.
