Long delays after rush-hour smash
Commuters faced long delays on Wednesday morning after a smash on a busy Preston road.
Emergency services were called to Lightfoot Lane, close to Preston Grasshoppers, at about 7.30am, to reports of a three-vehicle crash.
Police said the collision involved a white Honda, a black Vauxhall Astra and a white Ford Transit van.
Two ambulances were at the scene, and traffic was backed up along Lightfoot Lane.
The crash happened in the westbound lane.
