Full steam ahead to Preston for 90-year-old train
Preston train station had an elderly visitor this morning when the 90-year-old Scots Guardsman steamed in.
The vintage steam train arrived in Preston at 9.30am from Carnforth, and then continued on to Shrewsbury.
Built in Glasgow in 1927, the steam engine is also a film star - it appeared in the film Night Mail in 1936.
