Police and ambulance services were called to the scene at around 7am this morning after a taxi and a lorry collided.

A spokesman for Lancashire police said: "Two lanes were blocked for around an hour while emergency services dealt with the incident on Greyhound Bridge Road.

"Early reports suggest nobody was seriously injured in the incident, although some damage was caused to a crash barrier."
