Two men who carried out a violent street attack on a stranger in Burnley before stealing his bank cards and phone have been jailed.
Charlie Lord, 31, and Anthony Waddington, 40 - both of no fixed address - targeted the victim at around 5.15am on April 4 on Church Street, near the entrance to the Home Bargains car park.
The pair launched a sustained assault, punching and kicking the man, stamping on his head and smashing it against a gate.

They then threatened him and stole his bank cards and phone before fleeing.
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for head and facial injuries.
Waddington and Lord appeared at Preston Crown Court on November 14 for sentencing, having earlier pleaded guilty to robbery.
Waddington was jailed for four years and nine months, while Lord received four years and one month.
DC Charla Devereux, of Burnley CID, said: “I am pleased Waddington and Lord have been held accountable for their unprovoked attack and robbery of an innocent man.
“They carried out a violent and prolonged attack, and then went on to steal two of his bank cards and mobile phone.
"Waddington and Lord’s offending is of serious concern, and I hope the custodial sentence he received offers the victim some form of closure.”
