This pub makes all others in Lancashire look like the Ritz - customer leaves brutal 1 star review
The customer left a scathing review after visiting the pub a few weeks back.
A Preston pub has come under fire by a customer who left a scathing one star review and likened it to something out of a David Attenborough documentary.

The brutal Google Maps review about Lancaster Gate was shared six weeks ago by the customer who said they only gave the bar one star purely because the noise “scared the local foxes away”.

However, seeing the funny side, management of the bar posted the review on their socials and joked: “What a lovely review! Really captures the magic of Lancaster Gate, Preston.”

The review in full read: If David Attenborough ever runs out of ideas for wildlife documentaries, he should spend one Friday night outside this pub. No safari required. Just approach carefully and avoid sudden movements.
“The place feels like The Jockey from Shameless if Frank Gallagher had won the lottery and immediately spent it all on cheap speakers, vape juice and WKD.
“The beer garden resembles a failed zoo enclosure where the animals have gained access to karaoke equipment and unlimited Stella.
“The karaoke itself is genuinely impressive. It takes unbelievable confidence to absolutely butcher every song ever written while your mates cheer like you're performing at Wembley instead of screaming Sweet Caroline through a microphone that sounds like it was recovered from a house fire.”
The customer added: “Outside, you're treated to clouds of vape smoke, mystery puddles, plastic chairs held together by pure nicotine and conversations shouted loudly enough to interfere with local air traffic.
“Every table looks like the aftermath of a benefits office Christmas party.
“To be fair, the pub does serve a purpose. It makes every other pub in Lancashire feel like The Ritz.
“Why avoid sudden movements
“One star purely because the noise scared the local foxes away.”
They finished by rating the food, service and atmosphere 1 our of 5.
The pub will be showing the England vs Norway match at 10pm this evening.
