This is why - and when - 5 GP surgeries across Chorley & Lostock Hall will close temporarily

Patients at surgeries belonging to Health Innovation Ltd have been warned of disruption to the service next week.

Patients at five GP surgeries across Chorley and South Ribble are being warned that services will not be available for one afternoon next week.

Health Innovation Ltd, which runs surgeries in Adlington, Buckshaw Village, Croston, Eaves Lane Chorley and Lostock Hall, made the announcement in their newsletter.

It said: “We would like to advise all patients that essential training which is being delivered to NHS staff nationwide is taking place next Tuesday, May 12.

“All our surgery sites will close at 12.30pm on this day and all phone lines will also be closed from this time.

“With the exception of pre-booked evening appointments with our enhanced service, there are no appointments on that afternoon.
