The Hub pharmacy raises thousands for charities

Staff from Chorley Pharmacy raised 1,200 for Childrens Cancer Charity

The Hub pharmacy has raised more than Â£10,000 for 34 different local and national charities.

The charity events took place in the 20 pharmacies across the Hub pharmacy estate, including the Chorley who held a 10k run, raising £1,200 for Children’s Cancer Charity.

Steve Jeffers, CEO of the Hub pharmacy said: “Part of the Hub pharmacy’s ethos is to support our local communities as much as possible and this includes the local charities. We encourage our pharmacies to participate in at least one charity fund-raising event every quarter.

“This year the Hub pharmacy is aiming to raise even more and has set a target of £12,000 which is already off to a positive start after holding coffee mornings in aid of Cancer Research UK raising more than £700 in April alone.”
