An urgent search was launched after teenage friends Leona Derbyshire, 14, Matej Bulander, 14, and Allyx Queen, 16, disappeared from Withnell Fold on Tuesday evening (April 20).

Lancashire Police said the children were believed to have run away together and a public appeal was issued to help find them.

But this morning, it has been confirmed that all three children have been found "safe and well". Police did not say where the children were found.

The force has thanked everyone who shared its appeal.
