Takeaway fire tackled by Preston fire crews

A fire broke out in the kitchen of a takeaway in Preston yesterday evening (July 7).

Four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and Fulwood were called to tackle the fire at Quattro in Great George Street at 9.18pm.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported.

Quattro have been approached for comment.
