South Ribble Conservatives say ‘everything is going to plan’
After bagging five of the first seven seats announced at South Ribble’s local election count, the Tories are feeling positive.
Current council leader and leader of the Conservative party, Coun Margaret Smith, said: “It’s so far, so good.
“Everything is going according to the plan.
“As the campaign has progressed we have become more confident that our message has been getting across, both nationally and at borough level.
“It’s going as I thought it would - pretty well.”
