Six men charged over discount store robbery

Six men have been charged over a cash in transit robbery at a Fulwood discount store.

Daniel Barnes, 21, of Tag Lane, Ingol; Liam Malcolm, 29, of Sylvancroft, Preston; Wesley Harriott, 23, of Bowlingfield, Ingol; Christopher Sharp, 26, of Royal Drive, Fulwood; Christopher Handley, 21, of Asland Close, Bamber Bridge; Joe Pownall, 23, of Wallets Wood Court, Chorley have all been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and are due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 3.


The charges follow an investigation into the robbery which happened while a security guard was collecting money from the JTF Megastore Warehouse on Pittman Way, Fulwood on July 9, 2015.
